Water Treatment Solutions For Heavy Industry

In a manufacturing plant that focuses on engines, axle rebuilds, or other automotive processes, the primary contaminants are oil, grease and other lubricants that must be filtered out during wastewater treatment. Other pollutants include dirt and grime or heat treatments in molten salts – not so much dissolved metals or Biological Oxygen Demand load, just dirty, oily water. Hydrocarbons removal can be challenging, but DMP has a variety of technologies and chemistries at its disposal to render that wastewater safe for reuse.

Much of the Clean Water Act in 1972 came about in large part as a response to the high levels of wastewater produced by automotive, transportation and heavy machinery manufacturers.
